The full programme of the Open Newsroom Summit is now final. Here is the shape of the three days; individual sessions and rooms are in the summit app.
Thursday 12 November: audiences
Registration opens at 8:00 in the main foyer. The day starts with Marta Okafor's keynote at 9:30, followed by a panel on subscriptions and on-page assistants at 11:00.
After lunch, three parallel tracks run until 17:30: Audience, Product and Engineering. The welcome reception starts at 19:00 on the river terrace.
Friday 13 November: tools
Friday is workshop day. Sessions are 90 minutes long and limited to 40 people, so book a place in the app; walk-ins are accepted only when seats are left five minutes before the start.
Highlights include "Building a question log your editors will read", "Measuring engagement without counting clicks" and a hands-on session on structured data for event pages.
Saturday 14 November: the future of the beat
The last morning is shorter. Talks run from 10:00 to 13:00, and the summit closes with the Open Newsroom Awards at 13:15. Lunch is served until 15:00 for anyone with a late flight.
Times and changes
All times are Lisbon time (WET). Room changes are announced in the app and on the screens outside each hall, never only by email.
