FAQ

FAQ: tickets, accessibility and other practical questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often about the Open Newsroom Summit.

Can I still buy a ticket?

Yes. Three-day passes are on sale on the summit website until 10 November, or until they sell out. Single-day tickets for Saturday are sold at the door if any are left.

Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?

Yes, free of charge, until 48 hours before the summit opens. Use the link in your confirmation email; the new attendee receives their own QR code.

What if I need to cancel?

Tickets are refunded in full until 15 October, and at 50 percent until 5 November. After that we cannot offer refunds, but you can still transfer the ticket.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. The south gate is step-free, lifts reach every floor and all halls have reserved seating and a hearing loop. Live captions are shown on the main stage. If you need anything else, write to us before 1 November and we will arrange it.

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes, and it applies to every space of the summit, including the evening events. Report anything that makes you uncomfortable to a volunteer in a green lanyard, or to the safety desk next to the cloakroom.

Will the talks be recorded?

Main-stage talks and the three track rooms are recorded and published on this site within a week. Workshops and Amara Lindqvist's session are not recorded.

Where should I stay?

The summit has negotiated rates at four hotels within fifteen minutes of the venue; the booking codes are in your confirmation email. Rooms are held until 20 October.
